ā Why I'm Running
Iām not a career politician. Iām a W2 worker, just like most of you. I know what itās like to balance a budget around groceries, car payments, and the rising cost of living in Ohio.
When I received my official Candidate Welcome Packet from the State, I saw a page that explains exactly why the "average person" feels ignored in Columbus.
"The maximum contribution limit for one person is $16,615.67. The law specifies the donor can be as young as 7 years old."
Think about that: A wealthy donorās 7-year-old child can legally "contribute" more money than a hard-working veteran or a teacher makes in four months.
Most Ohioans donāt have $16,000 "laying around" to buy a seat at the table. Thatās why my campaign is different. I take no donations and solicit no funds, putting me truly in your debtānot a donor's.
When you see other candidates on the news, they are always talking about "lunch with business leaders" or "dinners with stakeholders." They rarely use the word voters. I donāt want a seat at the donors' tableāI want a seat at yours. Iām running to have lunch with the people who actually power Ohio, not the people who try to buy it.

ā¤ļø A Personal Appeal from Berlin: My Path to the 2026 Ballot
The Goal is Simple. The Mountain is Huge.
I'm running because I believe in true representationāfor all of us. But before we can even talk about winning, I have to conquer the first, most daunting challenge: getting on the ballot.
To do that, I need to collect a staggering 5,000 to 15,000 registered voter signatures before the deadline in May 2026. To put that in perspective, if I were running with a major party, I would only need 1,000 signatures. This unfair hurdle is just one way the system is designed to keep independent voices outāand don't even get me started on the various other gatekeeping mechanisms used to keep people like us out of our own government.
This isn't just a political hoop; it's a test of whether a truly grassroots campaignāone powered by people, not super PACsācan succeed.
My Personal Promise to You
I refuse to take donations just to pay a third-party firm to collect signatures for me. I believe this campaign must be built on real, personal connections.
That means I am the one person dedicating every spare moment to meeting voters and collecting these thousands of signatures. It is an audacious, exhausting goal, but I cannot do it alone.
I Need Your Partnership
Your belief in this movement is the most valuable resource I have. If you've been looking for a way to make a real, tangible impact, this is it. I need partnersāpeople who are ready to come put feet on the ground with me.
Hereās how you can help me climb this mountain:
- Be My Eyes and Ears: Do you know of a local festival, a farmer's market, or a community event that draws a crowd? I need your tips and insider knowledge to find the best foot traffic. Shoot me an email with any upcoming opportunities.
- Join Me on the Pavement: Volunteer a few hours of your time. Letās scout your neighborhood together, or canvas a local area. Your presence makes all the difference.
You can always check my Facebook page to see where I'll be next (just remember, those tricky craft shows usually won't let a political campaign in the door!).
If you share the vision of a truly people-powered campaign, please reach out. Let's make this happen, together.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
